Blessed to be part of Bhavanotsavam 🙏
I feel truly blessed and grateful to have this beautiful opportunity to sculpt for the Bhavanotsavam at Sri Vakrathunda Vinayagar Temple, Basin, Melbourne. For this sacred presentation, I sculpted two faces/forms to depict the beautiful story of Goddess Ambal and Ganesha — when Ambal wished to bathe, she created Ganesha and entrusted him to guard her. When Lord Shiva arrived and Ganesha stopped him, Shiva struck him down. Later, through divine grace, Ganesha was brought back to life with the elephant head, symbolising the birth of Lord Ganesha as we worship Him today. 🐘🙏 Being able to bring this timeless story to life through sculpture and devotion has been a truly special experience for me. My heartfelt thanks to @vakrathundavinayagar

A Visual & Musical Journey – A Celebration of Art, Heritage and Harmony
What an unforgettable evening it was on 18th July at Tony Sheumack Centre for Performing Arts. I am deeply grateful to have been the featured visual artist, where my paintings became an integral part of a beautiful Carnatic music performance. As each composition unfolded, the artwork behind the musicians changed to reflect its story, emotion and spiritual essence—creating a truly immersive experience where music and visual art spoke the same language. At the heart of the exhibition stood my Srirangam Rajagopuram painting, symbolising devotion and the grandeur of Indian heritage. It was beautifully complemented by Lord Rama on one side and Lord Nataraja on the other, creating a sacred visual narrative that resonated with every performance. Watching the audience experience the seamless connection between the veena, flute, cello, mridangam and ghatam, while surrounded by paintings inspired by our culture, temples and traditions, was incredibly fulfilling. Every brushstroke found its voice through music, and every note found a home within the paintings. My heartfelt thanks to dear Vaishnavi Muddam - Music , the exceptionally talented musicians, and everyone who attended and supported this unique collaboration. Your appreciation made this event truly memorable. When music paints emotions and paintings begin to sing, art transcends its boundaries.

🦜 Sapta Rishi – Srirangam Gopuram
Every painting has a story, but this one carries a piece of my heart. After visiting the magnificent Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Srirangam with my family, I stood in awe before the towering Rajagopuram. Every sculpture, every carving, and every vibrant colour seemed to whisper centuries of devotion and history. That unforgettable experience inspired me to recreate not just the temple, but the emotions it awakened within me. In this painting, I chose to add seven parrots instead of depicting the Sapta Rishis in their human form. 🦜 These seven parrots represent: • Atri Maharishi • Bharadwaja Maharishi • Gautama Maharishi • Jamadagni Maharishi • Kashyapa Maharishi • Vasishta Maharishi • Vishwamitra Maharishi In Indian tradition, parrots symbolise wisdom, sacred speech, devotion, and divine messages. I imagined the seven great sages flying towards Lord Ranganatha, just as millions of devotees have journeyed to seek his blessings for centuries. The number seven holds profound significance in Sanatana Dharma—Sapta Rishis, Sapta Swaras, Sapta Lokas, Sapta Samudras, Sapta Chakras, and Sapta Padi. It represents completeness, harmony, and spiritual evolution. ❤️❤️❤️🧑🎨🧑🎨

Srirangam Gopuram Series – The Final Process Video
Months of patience, countless hours, and thousands of carefully painted details have finally brought this monumental canvas to its final stage. This is the last process video before I reveal the completed artwork. Painted in mixed media on a large-scale canvas, this work is my tribute to the timeless grandeur of the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Srirangam—the world's largest functioning temple complex. Spread across 156 acres with 21 magnificent gopurams (tower gateways), Srirangam is a masterpiece of Dravidian architecture and one of the most sacred Divya Desams, dedicated to Lord Ranganatha. Every sculpture, every colour, and every tiny figure on this canvas has been painted with deep respect for the temple's extraordinary craftsmanship. The intricate layers reflect not only architectural precision but also centuries of devotion, culture, and living heritage. Working on a canvas of this scale has been both a challenge and a spiritual journey—where every brushstroke became an offering. The finish line is finally in sight. The next video will unveil the completed painting in all its glory.

Surrounded by Sita Devi, Lakshmana, Bharata, Shatrughna, Hanuman, and with his friends of Ayodhya, this divine moment symbolizes the restoration of harmony, justice, and truth. Ardhanareeswarar – The Eternal Balance of Shiva and Shakti
Watercolour on 300gsm paper. Ardhanareeswarar, the divine form of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati united as one, is a timeless symbol of equality, harmony, and the inseparable balance of masculine and feminine energies. One of the oldest representations in Indian sculpture, the Ardhanareeswarar form has been revered for nearly 2,000 years, appearing in ancient sculptures and temple art across India. Through this watercolour painting, I pay tribute to this profound philosophy of unity, balance, and mutual respect—a reminder that true wholeness is found in embracing both energies within and around us. "Where Shiva is, there is Shakti; where Shakti is, there is Shiva."

Inspired by the grandeur of Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple. The underpainting stage has begun for the Gopuram. Earthy undertones and rough line sketch help create balance, perspective, and visual rhythm throughout the composition. Using vibrant blues, warm muted browns to enhance contrast and draw focus toward the sacred details of the gopuram. Every layer adds texture, movement, and harmony This process is not just painting — it is slowly sculpting light, atmosphere, and devotion through colour and form. 🎨✨
