Anu creates commissioned artworks in the traditional way, from the first sketch to the final detail and framing, working closely with you throughout.

Every commission is a collaboration. Anu works closely with you from the first idea to the finished piece, talking through the subject, style and details so that the artwork meets your vision and expectations.
What shapes each commission
- Type of art: for example Tanjore, Mysore, oil, watercolour, pencil or mixed media.
- Size: from small pieces to large canvases.
- Complexity of the image: the number of figures, the fine detail, and the amount of gold or relief work.
- Medium and materials: such as 22-carat gold foil, semi-precious stones, natural pigments, board or canvas.
- Framing: with a frame or without.
A clear estimate
Before any work begins, Anu prepares an estimate that explains:
- the cost of the materials involved
- how long the work will take
- the price with a frame and without one
This way you can understand, and appreciate, the time, craft and materials that go into your artwork.
